Today i finally got meet the long awaited little whipped boy called Knerten!!!

He wa respectful so I immediatley liked him. VERY careful at first.....Then getting a little braver.....no worries
....as I am the king of playing and being childish hee hee. I will be 7 years old in a few weeks.....

Everyone needs a special person who´s always there when i´m sick and mum has to go to work, when we´ve moved and everything is new and car is cold and when mum is going on holiday and she gives me an amazing time whilst mum is away. She also cares for my mum and is an amazing suport for her AND makes her laugh....and here she is with me and Lettie on a walk.
We´re SO lucky and grateful for her friendship!!

It was busy spring and summer. first I decided to go on holidays to see Tiger & Lettie and my poor mummy had to do soething, so she went to Oslo & Gothenburg.

As usual I had such a nice time. Tiger& Lettie always make me feel welcome and safe and they share food, bed & love. They´re my family!! Also Anja makes me feel safe and welcome.

Today Anja, Helge and Tiger came to pick up Lettie and take her home. I was SO happy to see Tiger again, we can play in one week. Mum and I miss Lettie a lot actually and it was so nice having her here. But it´s nice to have mum all to myself again and Lettie can visit when ever she wants and we will see her really soon.

Snow is always fun fun AND having someone to play with makes it even more fun.

Anja brought her camera yesterday and captured these moments...and kindly let me use them on my blog - thanks Anja!!!

Lettie has turned 8 and she is very fit and playful still. She has an amazing joy of running and anyone seen her at top speed knows what a sight she is. She´s light and very fast and agile.

When Sisco was a pup and used to walk up the moutain with loads of greyhounds and borzois, it was always the same 2 dogs who kept running the whole walk and that was Sisco & Lettie :) Seeing them running together like this 5 years later really is wonderful.

On Friday Lettie came to us for a stay whilst Tiger is recovering from his operation in peace.

We went for a walk, visited mummy´s mum & dad. Then went home and got treats, snoozed and just enjoyed Friday night whilst it was snowing outside.

After way too many weeks away from internet I AM BACK with plenty of news of my intersting life.

This summer has been great! Plenty of fun walks AND I´ve been on holidays at Tiger & Letties house and had SUCH a good time. I even forgot to miss my mum cos Tiger & Lettie made me feel so welcome to their little pack and Anja and Helge are so calm and make me feel safe and at home. As we were taking photos and playing by the water a large hissing bird came to join us.
I didn´t think too much of it but mum completly freaked out and started jumping up and down, making stupid noises before backing off.....heeheee...I just stood there looking at it. Didn´t look like mum managed to scare it but she managed to make us laugh. In all her draa she forgot to zoom in on Tiger , Lettie & auntie Anja...so they´re fr away on the photos. Well done!! As seen noone else seem to panic because of the swan......

Easter 2008 started with a complete disaster: Mist couldn´t come stay with us after all. I was so gutted and the weather was horrible so Easter had a bad start. BUT it soon picked up as the weather did. Long walks, spending time with my family and eating lot and lots of bones and even got my own easter eg.

Yesterday Tiger & Lettie came early in the morning and we went for a 2,5 hr walk in the sunshine. Spring is in the air even though it is still cold

Lettie & I have alway ben very good friends. when I was a puppy she was great to run with..play ful & gentle. When all other dogs had stopped running, we were still charging about. We are quite similar "type" of greyhound: light (meaning skinny), agile, slightly cross eyed, slightly to big teeth making us look goofy and quite cheeky. One can also see we come from the same bloodlines as we have lots of similar features.

It had been a couple of weeks since we last met up and it felt fantasic running with pooches like e again, especially Tiger. No one can run and wrestle quite like him...well he had a great trainer if I may say so myself :) AND he´s become fast...bit too fast actually *hmph*

My sister Lotta visted Tiger & Lettie for a week and I got to meet her loads. We haven’t seen much of each other lately and it was super nice to see her!! Lotta has always been my favorite dog in the whole world and we were very excited to see each other. Got to run and play loads and Tiger and Lettie played with us too. It's true it's true!!! We had snow for a couple of days in November. I had a fantastic time playing with Mist in the snow but mum being mum STILL haven't got a camera so no fab photos taken...BUT Anja does so she took this photo as a proof that we DID have snow in Stavanger this year.

Mum was going to visit Leeds in August and of course I was going on holiday too!!! I was going all the way to Sandnes to visit Auntie Helen and Mist. It was quite eventful holiday and here's what happened.

On Wednesday evening, we both went to NRH training (SAR training) and there were only 4 there. So we were all finished quite early, and so I got to play with Mist and the lab pup which was lots of fun. Mist managed to run head first into a car and give herself a nosebleed - can you imagine? Poor little baby...but a couple of day later it actually got worse.. we both spent 4 hours in the car whilst auntie Helen had to work. when she came back o the car she found me, looking absolutely mortified, she soon found out why. Mist had had what auntie Helen refers to as "an episode of explosive diarrhoea"-..... all over her crate. In her water bowl, her food bowl, her toys, bedding....!! Poor me just wanted to get as far away as possible as my adorable best friend stunk. But generally speaking we played lots and had a great time...and fund time to chill out too..

In addition we wnt back to school to Arne's class where I haven't been for ages. We also went to meet Kristin and Shadow. Bellow Shadow & I with Auntie Helen

it can't be....a greyhound traing? not convinced...but tracking...are you mad?!!!!

It's my new hobbie and i LOVE it. we go tracking at Sviland with Mist and sometimes other frineds. Auntie Helen is tracking guru!!

First I have to work....i was so shocked the first time..but then I got hooked but now I love it. Tracking is great fun and I get loads of treats and have to use my nose...which feels satisfying.

Best part is afterwards where we are allowed off lead and run and play in the woods.

One day in early summer we went to the field to meet auntie Helen. She had something in her arms...a little baby pup.....a MAD, fun, totaly crazy, kind and totally gorgeous little madam with green eyes came crashing into my life. She grows so quickly. Here are some snaps from our first meeing:

So much has happende I don't know where to start. First of all we moved. At first I thought it was very rude of mum cos I wanted to stay at home. But then discovered this home is much nicer and now we love it here. Mum also managed to lose the camera and 10 months later we found it... only to discover she can't find the lead. So can't upload photos yet. Things take time. I almost start believing she's got other things to think than ME. Anyway once she gets a new lead, I'll show you our new pad. It's great..i RULE here :)

quick recap..in May we went to see auntie Anja. i saw her and was excitingly looking for Tiger...then two polar bear came towards me...WHAT?!! I looked shockd at Auntie Anja...how COULD you swap Tiger with two bears...oh HELLOOO....two nice ladies of a very rare breed called Hungarian Kuvasz. I tried evey thing to make them play:

NOTHING worked...they didn't want to chase me...mortified!!! But they were lovely ladies and we had a great time. And for those who wonder Tiger is not swaped, diasapeared or gone, he's still my mongi little brohter and we still love to wrestle and play.

Long time no see

It's been a few months since I last saw my beloved brother but when we finally met again, I had more fun than I've had for ages. Since he thinks he's border collie and tries to nip my front legs, he sometimes wears a muzzle when we play hee hee heeeee.

Since I last saw him he's grown and is a lot heavier than me AND he smells like a man now. Is that suppose to happen? Thought he was my LITTLE brother. But we're still best friends and love to run, wrestle & play.

Finally winter

I couldn't believe my luck when i looked out the window and saw snow!!!
That day we wen tin the car and when we turned to pick up Thule I was so excited!!
We had a great time playing, running &training in the field. Bit jealous of Thule's coat...she NEVER gets cold.

Happy Days growing up in Badedammen

When I grew up, we lived in a place called Badedammen, at least that's what I used to call it. You see Badedammen above. That's it, a small park right outside our front door. That's where i used to run and play.

I miss my best friend Scott. He used to live right across the street. He practically raised me and taught me to respect older gentlemen like himself….he was very funny to tease though hee hee heee…he got very annoyed.

Here's Mum & Scott on a bench...me standing beside them (looking at a cat). On a Sunday walk at Storhaug about a year and a half ago.

First time I met him I was 8 weeks old and we usually met every day in the park. Sometimes our owners used to take us across the bridge to the forest wheer Scott taught me the art of chasing deer. Very handy. A year ago he and his mummy moved back home to Bergen. I still think of him & kow mummy still misses his mummy Mona.

This brings me on to another very good friend from Badedammen: Kaja!

Scott, Kaja and I were good friends. Kaja’s mum Ceci lived in a white whie house behind Scott’s green house. I used to love going there seeing Kaja and Ceci always had treats (which Kaja stole off me, but I never cared). I know mum missed Ceci greatly when she moved, but was happy cos Ceci was very happy. Here's a funny photo of Kaja :)

I’m just lying here chewing my bone and then suddenly mum starts taking loads of photos of me. Humans are very amusing. Actually seeing mum crawling about on the floor trying to get good shots of me made me laugh so much I had to stop chewing. Mum laughed too and thought she just cracked the best joke ever…..oh dear!

As I have cut a paw once again, I’m not allowed to run off leash - DISASTER!!!

Good thing is mum takes me for monster walks AND we do fun stuff like searching for treats and practising tricks. So it’s not all that bad really.

Today we went to “Sørmarka” which is a big forest. It’s still green but can tell autumn is on its way.

Seaching for treats, exciting.
